This is the journey to build my version of a set of index centers for the Atlas milling machine. This is a project that was started some time ago and I am now starting to document the process here. It began with developing a set of drawings, then patterns by using an existing headstock for basic dimensions and scale. I have poured castings in aluminum and then progressed with machining  which has been documented here.
